Professor Art Reingold has always believed that rigorous science, coupled with deep humility and authentic partnerships, can change the world. He’s proven it — again and again — through the students he’s mentored, the lives he’s saved, and the systems he’s helped build. Professor Reingold's career has spanned over 45 years — beginning at Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization, and culminating in a faculty career at Berkeley that trained thousands of students and global health leaders. As he approaches retirement, we aim to honor that legacy and extend its reach for generations to come.
