The Carl L. Monismith Legacy Endowment honors a legendary figure in transportation and asphalt pavement engineering whose mentorship touched 37 doctoral and dozens of master’s students who now lead across ten states and nine countries worldwide.
To celebrate what would have been Carl’s centennial birthday this fall, we have secured 70% of the $250,000 needed to endow a MS fellowship in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Join us in honoring Carl's legacy by supporting the next generation of brilliant graduate scholars in CEE at Berkeley. Reaching this milestone will permanently establish the Carl L. Monismith Endowed Graduate Fellowship for future CEE students at UC Berkeley.
Your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar: A $25,000 matching challenge allows you to double your impact.

Donors agree that these potential updates may be made without further consultation.
