The Citrin Center is part of the Department of Political Science within the Division of Social Sciences of the College of Letters & Science. The center conducts original polling, engages in other cutting-edge research on public opinion, organizes conferences and lectures to bring together top scholars, supports research conducted by affiliated faculty members and graduate students, and engages in other activities connected to public opinion research.
Contributions to this endowed fund will provide lasting support, enabling the center to share research findings and to create a broader awareness of the study of public opinion for years to come.
In order to preserve the spirit of the purpose of the fund, and the intent of the original donors who established it, new donors who make gifts to this endowment understand that changes may be made to the fund in the future if it ever becomes difficult to spend. Any future changes will be consistent with the original purpose as written here. As such, new donors agree upon making their gifts that any future potential change to the endowment purpose may be made without their consultation.
Thank you for honoring and extending the legacy of Professor Jack Citrin, a Berkeley faculty member for 50 years and a leading scholar and teacher of public opinion. Thanks to your support, the center can share research findings to create broader awareness of the study of public opinion.
