Friends of AmphibiaWeb

AmphibiaWeb was founded in 2000 by Berkeley researchers and students alarmed by the global decline of amphibians and who wanted to address the lack of organized information on amphibian biology and conservation. We have the ambitious goal of establishing a "home page" for every species of amphibian in the world! We now bring together scientists, concerned citizens, policy makers, students and the public to face this biodiversity crisis.

We rely on support from the public to continue our impact on conservation, education and research. Visit us and learn more at AmphibiaWeb
