The Fund for the Advanced Study of Gender, Women, and Sexuality was endowed by Emeritx Professor Barrie Thorne in Fall 2010. In addition to supporting research and presentations for students enrolled in the Designated Emphasis in Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies, the Fund may also be used to provide fellowship support for PhD students, once the GWS PhD program is established.
