Your gift makes a difference
| Nad, former CAA President, longtime Berkeley professor, and devoted campus leader, and Linda, a steadfast partner in his service and philanthropy, together created an endowed scholarship through CAA’s Achievement Award Program to support Cal students for generations to come. In recognition of his lifetime of service, Nad was honored with the 2025 Berkeley Citation, one of the university’s highest honors. Together, Nad and Linda’s impact on the Cal community will continue to inspire and uplift future generations. To honor their extraordinary legacy, gifts may be made to the Nad and Linda Permaul Scholarship Fund. In order to preserve the spirit of the purpose of the fund, and the intent of the original donors who established it, new donors who make gifts to this endowment understand that changes may be made to the fund in the future if it ever becomes difficult to spend. Any future changes will be consistent with the original purpose as written here. As such, new donors agree upon making their gifts that any future potential change to the endowment purpose may be made without their consultation. |
