The Friends of the Museum of Vertebrate Zoology (MVZ) Fund

Your gift will ensure the museum’s continued excellence as one of the top research museums for evolutionary biology and conservation. The Museum maintains one of the largest collections of vertebrates (fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals) in the world, which is global in scope with concentrations in western North America, Central and South America, and South East Asia. Your gift supports a diversity of activities and functions in the MVZ including supporting undergraduate research, funding graduate student field research, and improving the Museum's state of the art facilities. 

• Maintain and expand the MVZ’s world-class collections of vertebrates
• Enhance the undergraduate research experience through our award-winning Undergraduate Program
• Assist researchers from developing countries to visit and use our collections and facilities
• Enable new technologies, especially new tools from genomics
• Support outreach to our alumni, friends, and the public
