The Center for Japanese Studies Gift Fund

Your gift makes a difference

Your gift to the Center for Japanese Studies (CJS) helps fund fellowships for incoming and continuing graduate students to conduct research, participate in conferences, and undertake language training; sustain a wide variety of public events throughout the year, from richly cultural experiences to challenging intellectual debates; as well as promote outreach programs and research exchanges.

The center, founded in 1958, supports the teaching and research mission of the university in all areas of Japanese studies by serving faculty and graduate students, providing grants and fellowships, organizing conferences and colloquia, and hosting visiting scholars.
