The Canadian Studies Program, ranked among the top of its kind in the United States, is a unique research center dedicated to promoting and disseminating exceptional scholarship on Canada. Our research specialties include Indigenous studies, comparative politics, immigration, and the environment. The program hosts regular public lectures, sponsors academic conferences, and offers generous research support to both graduate and undergraduate students studying Canada-related topics. We also serve as a hub for the Canadian community at Berkeley and the wider Bay Area.
