Berkeley Study Abroad gives students access to life-changing experiences through immersion in international cultures — an integral part of an undergraduate education. Studying abroad helps develop valuable skills in cross-cultural communication and adapting to diverse environments. Whether exploring their own cultural heritage, immersing themselves in language studies, or pursuing research for a major, our students embark on journeys of exploration that often bring profound self-discovery and personal growth. 

60 percent of approximately 2,000 study abroad students per year need financial support to participate; your contribution will enable them to choose from 500 programs on six continents.
