The Center on Civility and Democratic Engagement

Founded by the Class of 1968 in honor of their 40th reunion, the CCDE focuses on preparing current and future leaders to successfully engage people of diverse perspectives in finding solutions for pressing public policy issues. The CCDE is led by Faculty Director Meredith Sadin. The CCDE provides programming in four core areas: public events; research; teaching; and fellowships and internships.
