The Entrepreneurial Fellows Program (EFP) was envisioned by M.E.T. Advisory Board member, Ted Kuh, who conceived of the idea to get M.E.T. students jumpstarted working directly with founders early in their academic careers. Ted was joined by EFP donors Kamal Duggirala, Mark Edelstone, Jon Goldstein, Sharon Bonner Brown, Bill Brown, and James Lau, who have collectively sponsored countless EFP students in this entirely donor-funded, life-changing program.

Each participating student receives a grant of $6,000 for a summer internship of 10-12 weeks with an affiliated startup partner. Grants are fully funded by donors, so each gift of $6,000 makes a truly life-changing impact.

In 2023, Jas Khaira established the Khaira EFP Fellows, our first EFP endowment, sponsoring multiple students per year in perpetuity. Through the generous support of non-advisory board members Ranga Rajagopalan and Sujatha Ranganathan, the program continues to thrive. A full list of donors, including members of the M.E.T. advisory board as well as non-members, may be found on the final page of our brochure; we thank them all for their continued generous support of this special program.
