The Berkeley Center for Green Chemistry

Your contribution will support a truly innovative approach to the pursuit of chemicals that are safer for humans and the environment. The Berkeley Center for Green Chemistry (established in 2012) harnesses the power of education, collaboration and research to bring about a transformation toward the design and use of safer chemicals. We teach courses and run an internship program, giving students hands-on, project-based opportunities to learn the principles of green chemistry and apply them in real world settings. These courses include deep off-campus partnerships with industry, nonprofit, and government to promote the adoption of safer chemicals in their product and processes.
