Your gift to this fund will support an annual lecture series on South Asian art, an artist-in-residence program, graduate student fellowships, collaborations with museums and universities in South Asia, a biennial international conference on South Asian art, the curation of a modern art exhibit, and two prizes: one for the best doctoral dissertation on the art, architecture, or visual cultures of South Asia and its diasporas; and the other for an artist whose work best speaks to the South Asian diaspora or the politics and cultures of South Asia.
