The Cameron Institute is a world-class model for growth and achievement in intercollegiate athletics. The institute is guided by a vision to position 900 student-athletes to perform at their full potential and thrive for a lifetime through The California Way model. The institute delivers high-impact, specialized services across three pillars: Career Development, Community Engagement, and Mental Performance. Launched in the Fall of 2020, the Cameron Institute was founded thanks to a generous gift from C. Bryan Cameron and strives to be an exemplary student-athlete development model within Cal Athletics and college athletics departments throughout the country. Gifts to the Cameron Institute support the operational needs of the program and ensure Cal student-athletes have the resources they need to be successful in competition, in the classroom, and in life beyond Cal.
