The Physics Innovators Initiative (Pi2)

physics students

In order to keep Berkeley Physics at the forefront of fundamental research and a central training ground for the next generation of physicists, we hope to develop a new set of curriculum to train students to innovate, to combine tools and ideas to create a novel solution to a complex problem. Pi2 Fund will support new curriculum and upgrades of laboratory facilities for the introductory physics course - Physics 7, as well as to support upgrades to our Student Machine Shop.

Gifts made in memory of George Trilling, a beloved teacher and scientist, will benefit the Physics Innovators Initiative.
