Help continue the legacy of AIGP. Make a gift to the American Indian Graduate Program now!
The American Indian Graduate Program (AGIP) has been on the campus for 45 years promoting the inclusion and success of American Indians and Alaska Natives in graduate education. Our outreach, recruitment, advice, advocacy, and many other individualized services eliminate barriers that prevent Native Americans from taking full advantage of educational, social, and professional opportunities.
Our program has been instrumental in graduating more than 1,000 American Indian, Alaska Native and California Indian students representing all graduate and undergraduate programs.
"I would not be where I am today without the help of the American Indian Graduate Program. AIGP is more than a professional program, it is a sense of family at UC Berkeley." - B, Little Lake Pomo/Navajo, Class of 2017
Our Native students have gone on to serve American Indian and Alaska Native communities in a variety of capacities such as Indian health service administrative officers, directors of urban and rural Indian health boards, tribal lawyers, social workers, public health workers, engineers, researchers, tribal business associates, and professors in colleges across the country.More information about the American Indian Graduate Program can be found at: http://diversity.berkeley.edu/graduate/aigp
