Equity & Inclusion: Responsive Research, Teaching and Public Service
Broaden the creation of ideas and knowledge on equity, inclusion, and diversity, making contributions to the body of scholarship, as well as to the campus and to society.
Undergraduate Support — The Evelyn and Walter Haas, Jr. Fund will double your gift of $50,000 to $500,000 for new scholarship endowments for those who transfer to Berkeley from community college — especially students demonstrating leadership in community and public service. Please contact Marguerite Judson for more information: [email protected].
Graduate Student Support — UC Berkeley offers graduate degrees in 100 top-ranked master’s and doctoral programs. Special support programs and graduate fellowships ensure that Berkeley can recruit and retain diverse students.
Engaged Scholarship — With an expansion of the groundbreaking American Cultures course and new graduate research initiatives on multiculturalism, UC Berkeley is broadening the curriculum to deepen equity, inclusion, and diversity in the academic culture of the campus. Your gift will help more students engage in academic work with a distinct public-service component that benefits students as well as our diverse Bay area communities.
